Fortnite’s Deadpool Skin Is Live: Here’s How To Unlock It

The Deadpool skin and special Deadpool event have finally arrived in Fortnite.

The irreverent superhero has been popping up since Chapter 2, Season 2 launched just under two months ago, his first cameo in the season’s launch trailer.

Ever since, he’s been giving players goofy challenges which have awarded us with various Deadpool-themed cosmetics.

Today is the day all that work pays off and we finally get the skin, so be prepared to see lots of Deadpools in matches.

In order to unlock the skin you’ll need to have purchased the Chapter 2, Season 2 Battle Pass and then completed every challenge for the past 7 weeks. Below you’ll find links to each of our Deadpool guides so that you can wrap this up and get the skin.

To access Deadpool’s challenges you’ll need to go to the Fortnite HQ screen. This is in the “Battle Pass” tab. You’ll see all the Agents standing around the main room. On the top right there’s a vent, and when you select it you’ll go into Deadpool’s hideout.

Here’s where you can access Deadpool’s weekly challenges. The first is simply to read the note he wrote to Epic Games, which is lying right by the computer in his hideout. The rest of the challenges are slightly more difficult, and as you complete them Deadpool’s hideout will change. He eventually shows up, sitting amidst his stacks of hoarded toilet paper.

Once you’ve completed each of these, head out into a match and find a Phone Both or Portapotty. Go inside to become the super-est of superheroesâ€"once you emerge, you’ll be Deadpool and own the skin.

Next week we expect two more challenges which should unlock a second, maskless skin style for Deadpool so these challenges aren’t over yet. Hopefully these guides help you complete all the challenges without too much trouble.

Today also kicks off a special Deadpool event. He’s apparently taking over The Yacht and throwing some kind of party.
