UPDATE 3: Fortnite developer Epic Games has discovered a new problem following the release of update 12.50.
While the PS4, Xbox, PC and Switch versions are running as intended, iOS and Android players are experiencing issues with the quickbar.
"We're investigating an issue on mobile causing the quickbar to have a delay when switching from combat mode to build mode," Epic tweets.
"As a workaround, players can use dedicated slots for specific types instead of automatic settings by using the extra buttons in the HUD layout tool."
Fans can expect another hotfix later this week.
UPDATE 2: Fortnite server downtime has come to an end on PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PC, iOS and Android.
"Downtime for v12.50 has ended," reads an Epic tweet. "Still more awaits your role at The Agency."

The news was confirmed by Epic Games, alongside confirmation that server downtime is ongoing on all platforms.
"Downtime for v12.50 has begun," reads an Epic tweet. "We'll provide an update when downtime ends."
According to the 12.50 patch notes, the new update makes one or two controversial changes to the game.
Epic will make changes to Aim Assist, which will make it more difficult to automatically hit targets.
A message sent to Fortnite fans reads: "This build includes an AA change which makes 240hz AA act like 60hz AA, which does impact target acquisition. Investigations and tests are ongoing regarding aim assist, and your feedback is appreciated.
New skins (via FNBRLeaks) and items have also been discovered, alongside plans to hold a Party Royale event on a brand new island, beginning on May 1.
"Welcome to the Party! Leave your weapons and mats behind and hang out with friends, play games, perfect your skydive and more. The party's just getting started!"
Elsewhere, fans will seemingly be able to purchase XP for cash from the item shop.
